I really like it but...
It needs a hood. Whether it's a full-on hood or a non-bulky in-collar stashaway, it needs a hood. I get that it's an activewear piece, but it just doesn't make sense to have a weatherproof jacket without a hood. I don't want to have to carry around a waterproof bucket hat with me.
The good and the needs improvement
Looks nice really dig the cuffs. The neck bit is a bit stiff and can be a bit annoying. The stash pocket you can fold the jacket into feels a bit weird due to its placement on the right side of your back. Overall pretty nice though. Willing to add some tips for improvement just let me know.
Awesome stretchy shell
The elements jacket is an awesome lightweight and stretchy shell. I’m surprised at how stretchy it is. The slim fit is nice but I’d consider sizing up if you need to layer underneath. Great for the few rainy SoCal days we get.
Almost perfect - needs hood
I absolutely love the fit, feel, and functionality of this jacket. However, not having a hood somewhat defeats the purpose. If it's pouring rain and there's no hood, your head gets drenched. This would be 5 stars for me if not for that one critical missing component.
Great versatile jacket
I am already really enjoying the elements jacket. I have been looking for a lightweight breathable jacket with stretch for a long time and the fact that it is waterproofed is a big bonus.
