As some of the other reviews mentioned, this a lighter thermal, maybe more than you'd expect. However, after wearing it, it's much more useful than it might otherwise be. It's still warm, but wearable in spring or maybe summer nights. I like to use it as a layer under a fleece shirt or hoodie, and that's usually more than enough on cold days.

More of a relaxed fit, as well, but again, I think that's preferable. Plus, quick dry and performance material qualities.

If you take the shirt as a lightweight sweatshirt instead of an actual baselayer, it's really good. A heavier weight version would still be interesting, and/or more colors.
